In this workshop we will discuss different varieties of fruit trees, preferred planting sites, soil preparation, pollination, pruning practices, pest strategies, grafting and budding. There will be some demonstrations and hands-on opportunities. We will be mostly outside so dress accordingly. Workshop presented by Henri Steeghs and Bruce Partridge of ‘Pleasant Valley Nurseries’ fame and who have a combined wealth of over 80 years of knowledge on the subject!
